"Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your blessings, see what God has done!
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your many blessings, see what God has done."
- Count Your Blessings
This song pops into my head when I think about all the blessings God has given me in the last month and a half! God is so GOOD!
I want to share with you some of those blessings. :)
- My foot! At the beginning of Feb my left foot started to hurt and I didn't know why, I thought it might have something to do with my accident. After going to the Dr a couple times and it not getting better, I wondered if it was fractured. I got x-rays done on the Monday before I was to leave and the next day I found out it wasn't fractured, so my Dr decided to figure out what was going on and found that a couple of the little bones were out of place. She put them back into place and I haven't had a problem sense!
- Not hurting! Since my car accident in December, my neck and shoulders have been hurting and I've been going to my Dr every two weeks since then to get them back where they are to be. Since being here, I haven't had any problems with them and I feel like everything is where it should be. Praise the Lord!
- Good and safe flight! It was a long 16 hours of flying, but it went well and smoothly!
- No jet-lag. We got to the house around 11:30pm and I had only had about 5-6 hours of sleep in the last 24 hours... so I was tired. I slept normal that night and the rest of the time too. ;) I think it helps that I can sleep anywhere and that God just had my body adjust so well!
- Healthy! So far so good! :)
- Bugs don't like me. ;)
- Baby did't come yet! We thought he might come before the boys came home... Thankfully he didn't!
- Guys came and helped when the truck wouldn't start. Jen, Ellie and I were at Tesco (Like Walmart) getting food and when we came out to leave the truck wouldn't start. :P As we are trying to figure out what to do... two guys come up and ask us if we need help. They helped us try and jump the car... But the battery wasn't the problem. :P Thankfully we found out the problem (has to do with the gearshift not sensing what gear it's in.) and we were off!
- Church family! The church here that I'm going to has welcomed me with open arms. It's been wonderful to fellowship and worship with them!
- Fully funded! Thank you all who have and are supporting me in this adventure that God has me on! I wouldn't want to do it without you!
- All of my prayer partners! You guys are amazing and I can't think you enough! You guys mean the world to me! Thank you!!!
Those are just some of the things God has blessed me with!
What has God blessed you with?
I would love to hear! :)
