Family Photos

We attempted to get family photos twice... I think we got one or two good ones. :)

 It's hard to get everyone looking and smiling at the same time. :) I think I took over 150 and got Three ok ones. :P At least we got them. :)

Todd's Birthday

Todd's birthday was this last week. Him and Jen got out and played tennis while I watched Micah. Then in the afternoon we headed out to a restaurant in north Bangkok. Traveling in Bangkok is insane!!! Just to go 18 miles takes you more then an hour... sometimes it can take two hours! It is crazy!
Ok... back to the celebration! :)
Instead of trying to tell you about the restaurant I'll just show you pictures. :)

           They had some indoor sitting to, but who wouldn't want to sit out in this beautiful place!
            Oh, and if you couldn't tell, there was only one other family group there! It was great!

 Right after family pictures it Poured!!! It was wonderful! Here when it rains... it just down pours and then it's over in 10-20 min. and sunny again. :)

Help In Time Of Need.

God has been reminding me this whole month that I can't do it on my own, I need Him! In everyday life I need His help to have energy, patience, slow to anger, joy, and calmness. Life has been crazy with all the changes of having a new baby in the house, the kids going to preschool in the mornings, and Todd starting to work again. But it's been a good experience to rely on God and Him alone! I should be doing that everyday no matter what I'm going through.

This last week He's been reminding me that He is the one who is in control of the plans for my life.
Proverbs 16 is a great chapter on letting God direct your plans and follow Him one step at a time. I would encourage you to read it for yourself and see what God says to you about your plans.
This week I'm going on a visa run. I don't know how it's going to turn out, but I do know that God has a plan and I'm going to follow Him one step at a time. He is in control and I don't have to worry!

Food and Friends!

The ladies at church made us meals for the first two weeks after the baby was home. It was wonderful to not have to worry about dinner and just take care of the kids. Also the food was great! :)

Kings Coronation!

The King of Thailand had his coronation this month! He has been the king for a couple years, but his coronation didn't happen till now. So everyone wore yellow in honor of him and they had a Big weekend celebration.

Here are some pictures of the different things they put up for it.

Immigration... Twice.

A Family trip to immigration happened two weeks ago... they had to renew the work visa and the other visas. I went along to watch the kids, while mom took care of baby and dad took care of the visas. So, it all sounds nice and easy right?! Well, it didn't quite go like that.
So Thursday morning we wake up early and are all in the car and ready to go by 7. We drive two hours and get to the office to find out that it was a government holiday. (which isn't on the calendar) So, we get back into the car and drive two hours back home.

The next morning we get up early again and are in the car by 7 and drive back up there. Once there he got his work visa really fast, but then had to wait for the boss and cashier to show up... (sometimes things here can drive you crazy... like them choosing to just not show up until they want to.) We finally had the work visa and we were off to the immigration office. Thankfully they were told to go to a small immigration office and not a big one... the big ones take Forever to get your stuff done! I had to go get my 30 day extension the week before and had to go to a big office... it took 4 hours of just standing around, before I got it! It was Crazy!
We get to the office and there is no one in line! So after a couple papers were tracked down, the visas were all renewed! Praise the Lord!! We made it home by 3!
I enjoyed holding a sleeping Micah while we were at the office.
Oh, it was also my first two times out of Bangkok!!!! It's so beautiful outside of the city!
