We were invited to a Thai Christian engagement party. It was being held in the girls home town which is 3+ hours from Bangkok. Because it was starting at 9am we decided to leave a day earlier and spend the night out there. It was wonderful to get out of Bangkok and to enjoy the hills and trees! 😊
Can you tell how excited they were to get out of the car? :)

On the way home we saw these elephants! They were my first elephants I've seen here in Asia.
We also saw a Huge group of monkeys, and right after the elephants we ran into a street party for who-knows-what. :)
